Sometimes tying fancy flies helps make your regular flies just a little bit better. I recently attended a local Cotinga Club meeting where we tied the Rusty Rat. I choose to tie it on a double hook, since I have never tied a fly on that type of hook. Mine turned out pretty well, if I may say so myself.
The store is now setup and is working. I will be adding more of my flies and a new category of fly, the kebari for Tenkara (Japanese style of fixed-lined fly fishing). Tenkara is a much simplified method of fly fishing and is a BLAST! Makes me feel like a kid again, where all I focused on is the fishing without worrying over all the gear.
