Kurobe Kebari

$ 1.75

The Kurobe Kebari is a traditional Tenkara fly from the Kurobe headwaters area on the border of Toyama Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture in northern Japan.  Black hackle is used in the early season, brown hackle during summer season, and white/grayish hackle in the autumn. Peacock is also used for the body during the summer. I have added a copper wire wrapped over the hackle to protect it from being nicked and the fly coming undone.
