Also known as the Peterbaugh Foam Caddis, this fly was originally tied by Don Peterbaugh of Salida, Colorado in 1964 to fish the Arkansas River. It is a fly that will float all day for you and you can see it on the water with the light elk hair wing. I have modified the pattern a little bit, cutting the foam with a caddis wing cutter to give the silhouette of a caddis’ wings to a trout looking up.
