Furled Leaders

The furled leaders are built using Gudebrod A Rod Wrapping thread to 6 1/2 ft long.  The butt end is finished with a Shorb Loop technique for a smooth loop finish.   Add a 12 inch or so long piece of 3X tippet to this, using loop knots, blood knots, or whatever, and then finish with 4X or 5X tippet, or even add another length and end up at 6X or 7X.  Coat the leader with Muscilin, bee's wax, or even Chap Stick to ensure it floats. Comes in Olive (a great camo color), Black, Red/White (looks like a candy cane, pictured above), Black/White, and Olive/White.  The tippet-end of the multi-colored leaders is white.  Custom orders can be placed. $7.50
